Cancer Relief Grants

Sweet Geeks Foundation offers cancer relief grants to patients in need. These grants are designed to alleviate the financial burdens faced by cancer patients. We offer two types of grants under the cancer relief program: Financial Relief Grants and Experience Grants.

Financial Relief Grants provide financial aid to qualifying cancer patients currently undergoing treatment. This aid can be used for essential expenses such as rent, utility bills, medical costs, gas cards, and grocery store cards. Eligible patients can apply for a one-time Financial Relief Grant ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.

Experience Grants offer cancer patients and their loved ones an adventurous experience that they would not otherwise be able to afford or have the opportunity to participate in. Eligible patients can apply for a one-time Experience Grant ranging from $2,000 to $4,000.

Eligible patients are limited to applying for one grant, either a Financial Relief Grant or an Experience Grant.

2024 Federal Poverty Limit Guidelines

  • Applicants must have a diagnosis of cancer confirmed by an oncology healthcare provider.

  • Applicants must be currently undergoing active cancer treatment.

  • Applicants must reside in Southern California.

  • Applicants must meet our eligibility guidelines based on the Federal Poverty Limit; income must be equal to or less than 300% of the federal poverty limit for the current year.

Individuals awarded a Cancer Relief Grant are ineligible for reapplication.
